Comparison of Hills

Use this figure to see how your favorite climbing hill stacks up against the others. Of course, steepness and length are only two of the qualities that determine how much effort it takes to get to the top. Two others, not captured in this figure, are softness and uneveness of the trailbed. Starting elevation is another. (The y-axis really should be labelled "Elevation Change" because these trails all start at different elevations.)
