There weren't many indian paintbrush flowers, but they were easy to spot wherever they were!
The Hidden Pond is to the right. There was even a little bit of water in it today!

A mariposa lily

From here we're looking down on the Coyote Trail and can see the cistern near the north end. The road in the distance to the right is Hell Hill.
Looking north, we see fields of mustard
The hillside is covered with morning glories. They look just like tiny white dots in this photo.

Time for a break!

Heading back on Ranch Center Road
There was a colorful patch of poppies and violet flowers here
I don't know the name of the violet flowers, but we saw lots of them

Another indian paintbrush

There was a patch of shooting stars here next to the main Sycamore Canyon Fireroad
Another view of the shooting stars

There were thousands of bees here, not far from the main trail. You can see them as white spots in front of the tree and dark spots against the sky near the tree.

Climbing up the"BB" hill
From the top of the BB hill, we can see the ridgelines to the south-east are covered with poppies.
There poppies were right beside the trail and much easier to see!
Just a-blowin' in the wind!
