Space Mountain to the Beach & BBQ
Description: This is a one-way ride all the way to the beach. You'll need to have a car parked at the end to shuttle you back to the start. Start off your adventure with a moderate climb up the Space Mountain singletrack. At the top, continue across the Los Robles singletrack to the picnic table. Take a break and take in the view, then continue on out to Potrero Road and onto the connector trail that leads to Big Sycamore Canyon Road. Descend down into the canyon, then take Sin Nombre over to Sage and make the climb up to the water tower. From there it’s a fast and fun descent down Wood Canyon. Then it’s another climb up to the top via Guadalasca. Ride the fireroad over to Backbone and enjoy another great decent. Then it’s an easy ride on the main fireroad to the beach. Once at the beach, kick back and have a barbecue!

Directions to the Trailhead (Space Mountain): Take the 101 Freeway to the Moorpark Road exit in Thousand Oaks. At the end of the off-ramp proceed south toward the ocean. Take Moorpark till it dead-ends at Greenmeadow Avenue and park in the dirt lot on the right.
