After coming back down to the Carrizo Plain, we headed east, past the south end of Soda Lake to look into the patch of orange flowers we could see from above.

The Temblor Mountains have some orange and purple flower fields, unlike the Caliente Mountains where they were mostly yellow with a very few orange ones.
