Area Overview for |
COSCA/Los Robles Trail East (Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency)
View
of Westlake Village from the Fairview Trail at the east end of the COSCA
area
The COSCA area sits between Hidden Valley and the 101 Freeway on the south and north, and Westlake Blvd and Moorpark Rd on the east and west. The Los Robles Trail East is the main thoroughfare, composed mostly of an Edison Road on the north side of a ridge with views over Thousand Oaks. On the south side is the very rocky Conejo Crest Trail. Also there are several singletracks, a couple of which are short connectors between other trails, and several of which drop into the valley towards Westlake Blvd or Portrero Road. Many places have a view into Hidden Valley. Los Robles Trail East is connected to Los Robles Trail West so that the trail extends from Hampshire Road at the east end all the way to Potrero Road at the west end, and a short single track then connects to the magnificent Sycamore Canyon area.
